Google Ads management in Liverpool, run properly.
Small-budget campaigns that earn their keep. Built from scratch, written in-house, tuned weekly. No retainer you can’t cancel. No account manager between you and the work.
Right keyword,
specific ad,
matching page.
That’s the whole game. Set up, written in-house, tuned weekly until it’s earning.
I’m Jack - a freelance Google Ads manager based in Liverpool. Most small businesses I talk to have one of two problems: they’ve tried Google Ads and burnt money on it, or they’ve been told they need to spend thousands a month before it’s “worth it.”
Neither has to be true. Small budgets can work - if the campaign is built around the right keywords, the ads say something specific, and the landing page matches what the ad promised. I set it up, write the ads, build the landing pages where needed, and tune weekly until it’s earning.
What Google Ads
management includes.
The whole funnel, run by one person. No agency hand-offs.
-
/01 Setup
Campaign setup
Keyword research, match types, negative keywords, campaign structure, conversion tracking. Done properly from day one so you’re not paying to learn.
-
/02 Copy
Ad copy
Written in-house - headlines, descriptions, extensions. Tested against each other so the best performers run and the weak ones don’t.
-
/03 Pages
Landing pages
Where your existing pages aren’t converting well enough, I’ll build or revise the landing page. The ad and the page need to tell the same story.
-
/04 Tuning
Weekly tuning
Bids, search terms, negatives, quality scores. Checked and adjusted weekly, not left to run on autopilot.
-
/05 Reporting
Monthly reporting
Plain English. Spend, clicks, conversions, cost per lead. What’s working, what’s been cut, what’s being tested next.

Leads from Google,
no agency retainer.
Particularly useful if you’ve tried Google Ads before and it didn’t work.
Small businesses and sole traders in Liverpool and across the UK who want leads from Google without committing to a big agency retainer. Trades, local services, studios, consultants - anyone with a specific service and a local or national audience to reach.
In most cases when an account hasn’t worked, the problem is fixable: wrong keywords, vague ads, or a landing page that doesn’t convert. A quick audit usually shows the issue within an hour.
What budget
do you need?
No minimum imposed on my end. Modest monthly budgets work well for most small businesses I take on.
There’s no minimum ad spend I impose. Very small budgets just take longer to accumulate data and optimise. A modest monthly budget is the sweet spot for most small businesses I work with - enough to get meaningful data, not so much that a bad week hurts.
My management fee is separate from your ad spend. You pay Google directly; you pay me separately. No markup on media spend.
Audit, launch,
tune, report.
Minimum term three months - enough time to gather data and optimise. Month-to-month after.

Q/01 Why hire a freelancer instead of a Google Ads agency?
An agency will typically charge a percentage of your ad spend as their fee, meaning they’re incentivised to increase your budget whether it’s working or not. A flat freelance fee means I’m incentivised to make the budget work, not grow it. You also get one person across the account - not a rotating cast of juniors.
Q/02 Do you manage Meta (Facebook/Instagram) ads too?
Yes - it’s one of the services I offer. Some clients run Google and Meta together; others focus on one. I’ll recommend based on where your audience actually is.
Q/03 Can you take over an existing Google Ads account?
Yes - I’ll audit it first, tell you honestly what’s salvageable and what needs rebuilding, then take it over. No obligation to continue if the audit shows the account is beyond reasonable repair.
Q/04 How quickly will I see results?
Faster than SEO - Google Ads can drive traffic from day one. The first two to four weeks are usually about gathering data and pruning bad search terms. By week six most campaigns are performing meaningfully better than launch.
Q/05 Do I own the Google Ads account?
Yes, always. The account is in your name, you have full access, and if you ever leave you take it with you. I never run campaigns from an agency account.
